About Daum  

The company has been in business since 1878. Each of Daum's unique crystal creations are made using an ancient process dating back to 5,000 BC called “Pate de Verre”, which involves melting ground crystals of colored glass in a mold. This process results in pieces that have intense colors with beautiful and incredibly subtle color shading/gradations.
